Health protocols to minimize the spread of illness at the studio
Currently, we do not require masks in any of our classes. As always, we reserve the right to make changes as we see fit.
Masks are available at the door. It is ALWAYS an option to wear a mask, and no one will ever be questioned about it.
We will continue to have hand sanitizer available in several places throughout the studio.

We will continue to use air purifiers in all three studios during classes.
We ask that dancers not come to class if:
-
they are ill with a fever, or a continuous hacking cough
-
they have tested positive for COVID (until 5 days after testing positive)
-
they have been exposed to measles or any other highly contagious disease
We will ask dancers to mask up during class if:
-
they have a continuous cough
-
someone in their household has COVID
-
the dancer tested positive for COVID more than five days ago and is still testing positive
In these cases, the dancer must mask up in order to remain in class.
THESE SAME PROTOCOLS APPLY TO FAMILIES (OR ANYONE ELSE IN THE WAITING ROOMS) AS WELL.
The health of our dancers is of the utmost importance to us, and we also bear in mind that some of our dancers may have family members who are immunocompromised.
Safety measures to keep dancers, families and staff safe in the studio
-
Studios 1 and 3 have sprung floors. Currently studios 2 and 4 have floating floors, but they will be getting sprung floors this fall. This minimizes the chance of injury from dancing on the wrong surface.
-
Dancers are asked to keep their hands and bodies to themselves and respect others' personal space. No horseplay is allowed.
-
There is no climbing on tables, on chairs, on benches, or on the half walls. Dancers (and especially accompanying siblings) should keep their feet on the floor.
-
Only registered dancers and family members/ friends accompanying them are allowed in the studio. Dancers are not to open the front doors (studio 1 and 3) to anyone (unless it's staff). Our entrance is at the side/rear of the building.
